Almost all dragons found in Okinja lack wings and possess long serpentine bodies but the Curvetooth is an exception. The oldest mythologies claim that long ago the dragons of the west and the dragons of the east fought a great battle and that the long dragons of the east killed or drove out all the winged dragons of the west. The Curvetooth was rumored to be an offspring of the two types of dragons and was able to evade detection. These dragons hide deep in the jungles of Southern Okinja where they can avoid the detection of the eastern dragons that would kill them. Very few are left and many consider them pure myth though they are indeed real. The Curvetooth Opulent inherited traits of both lineages. They posses the wings of their western predecessors and the magic of their eastern ancestry. They tend to be spiteful and cruel, hoarding large treasures and secrets hence the opulent part of their namesake. They can sense the presence of gold and will go out of their way to acquire it. If a cuvetooth is presenting a problem for an area sometimes just threatening to reveal their location to other dragons is enough to get them to stop. Other times they can be bought. Being about the size of an Atakebun, the Dragon-Koi is undoubtedly the most enormous creature lurking in the depths. It comes across as passive, so long as you stay above the surface. The moment you touch the water is the moment you should make peace with death. It unleashes a frost beam to freeze the surface and trap you underwater, leaving you to either freeze to death or drown-- whichever gets you first. It prefers remaining deep within the ocean, so you should lure it to closer the surface by dropping depth bombs to heat the water and make it escape to the top as it hates the heat. It can, however, absorb radiation from the sun to harness either a solar beam attack or a blinding flash attack, so don’t let it draw too close to the surface either. If you damage it enough and don’t keep bringing on heat, it can freeze itself into a shell of ice to restore its abilities and regulate its temperature. DO NOT, and I repeat, DO NOT let it get into the ocean… we thought it would be a great strategy to cool it down, but in reality, that allows for it to unleash a steam storm, causing it to harden itself into a hibernating shell for protection, while simultaneously scalding everything in a half-mile radius. Your best strategy is to use concentrated ice attacks on its legs to prevent steam from hurting Trappers and use bludgeoning attacks to break its legs and effectively immobilize it. Rather than doubling down on a particular swath of land or territory, an Ursalioth will typically roam an area for a month or so, find what prey there is to be had, then leave for another area. One would think that this would make travellers safe from them, but despite their lack of territorial nature, Ursalioth Bulls are known for being rather aggressive, and females protecting their young can be even more prone to violence. That said, settlers aren't often hunted by Ursalioths as a primary food source. Though an Ursalioth may carry off larger livestock, humanoids are simply too small to provide any semblance of a meal for these massive creatures.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eSome settlers of the more daring variety have gone so far as to attempt to domesticate these massive brutes, hoping to make use of their endless roaming as a quick and safe means of travel for those who trek through these untouched lands. The most foolhardy or desperate trappers sometimes use these dragons' love of all that glitters in an attempt to draw the creatures out, obtaining shining items and using them as bait for the dragon.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eDrageese are infamously ill-tempered, and take any incursion on their territory as a personal offense. When a creature enters a Dragoose's territory, its life is forfeit. The Navadi people have a particular hatred of Drageese because they do not consume those that they slay. These Dragons subsist on a diet of only fish and other aquatic life, and leave other creatures that they kill scattered around their territory as warnings to others who may be foolish enough to venture onto their lands.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eDrageese are easily set apart from other dragons not only by their appearance, but also from the exceptionally loud honking noise that they are capable of creating. This sound is so loud that it can be heard from miles around, and is often used to stun or outright kill the Dragoose's prey or to disorient and disable its opponents.
